In the early 80's, Vincenti & Lampart's founder Dan Deubelbeiss started one of Europe's earliest digital desktop publishing companies in Munich, Germany eventually opening offices in London, Amsterdam and Verona. The group expanded into multimedia, video, TV and digital post production.

In the mid-80's TV Company Film- Und Fernseh Produktion GmbH joined the group. The TV Company label quickly became one of Europe's top studios, shooting TV commercials for Wrigley's Chewing Gum, McDonald's Europe, Coca Cola Europe, Becks Beer, Audi, Proctor & Gamble, Johnston & Johnston, Ferrero, and Lindt chocolate.

The group built and acquired  studio facilities in Munich and Amsterdam, built a music and sound studio in London and extended the business into the production of musical video clips and special interest TV. As early as 1993 the partners decided to invest into the beginning stages of internet technology, becoming involved in many start-ups  and building an IT portfolio spanning publishing, e-commerce, internet retail and online banking.

By 1998 the group had sold most of its media assets and the partners concentrated exclusively on their IT portfolio.Vincenti & Lampart established its US offices in Coral Gables, Florida in 1997 in an effort to consolidate the partner's know-how and experiences gained in two decades in the European media and publishing market.

The remaining IT portfolio was consolidated under the "Vanilla" brand, with headquarters in Gibraltar. Vanilla Distribution, plc eventually became a public company with over 3.000 shareholders. The company prepared for its IPO on the American NASDAQ underwritten by Ernst & Young and Barclay's Bank, Gibraltar. This IPO was thwarted by legal challenges from the British Trade Department. After two years of legal battles in the British Courts, the group decided to move on and sold the company to a group of Dutch investors who took it private again and relocated the group of Vanilla companies to The Netherlands. Despite some harsh, personal attacks and baseless accusations against Dan Deubelbeiss in the German media in 2001, no legal cases or charges were ever filed.

Over the recent years Vincenti & Lampart has seen dramatic market changes that have required new strategies. Since 2004 the group has focused on the consumer packaged goods market, especially beverages and functional beverages. In 2011 the group acquired a food and beverage manufacturing plant in Deland, Florida and is set to add new distribution and sales channels for its beverage innovations as well as constantly adding more beverage brands to its portfolio.

Today Vincenti & Lampart is a lean and highly agile private equity firm with presence in Zug, London, Sao Paulo and Tel Aviv. Its US office remains in Miami, Florida.
